Makes about 24 pcs
Ingredients:
2 pcs chicken thigh meat without skin
2 tbsp HP Fruity sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
24 pcs of seaweed

Method:
1. Slice chicken into thick long strips(5 cm thickness)
2. marinate with all the seasonings for 10 mins.
3. Place 1 tsp of chicken meat on one end of seaweed.
4. Roll over to seal.
5. Grilled in preheated oven of 220C for 10 mins.
6. Serve immediately

I see that you use a plate to put inside your oven to grill the pandan chicken .. what type of plate is that? Embarassed

its ceramic plate. U can use stoneware plates too. Easier..no need to use baking tray, or aluminium foil.

i think its very good idea for easy finger food for home parties. hubby was asking me the other day why I never had potluck parties already. I used it have it quite often last year..where I invited a few members from this board.. Wink

i made this today..and i think it didn't turn out as i thought...the seaweed got quite wet as the juices n seasoning seeped thru it while it was cooking? any ideas on how to prevent this?

you can use light soya sauce or Teriyaki sauce or BBQ sauce..!!

Gina,

For this dish, can pan fry instead of grilling the chicken? If can, do i wrap the chicken just before frying, cos i worry the chicken will wet the seaweed which maybe too soft for frying if i wrap it too early and set aside.

where the sauces are kept like Soy sauce, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce.

You can use it to marinate other meats for grilling or BBQ. Or simply use as a dip.
