|A recipe taught to me by a friend but I did a bit of modification to suit my tastebud..
Creamy Buttery Crabs
4 crab - cleaned
100 gm butter
1/2 yellow big onion - diced
3 pc - garlic
15 pcs bird eyed chillies (cili padi) - cut small
3 sticks of curry leaves - only take the leaves
1/2 cup water
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon cornflour mix with 3 tablespoon water (as thickening agent)
salt, sugar - if required
ikan bilis granules - optional
Melt butter in wok and sautee the big onion, Chillie padi and curry leaves until the onion is slightly cooked. add garlic and sautee till fragrant.
Add crabs and water. Cover the wok and let the crab cook - turning the crabs once a while.
Add milk, ikan bilis granules and cornflour mix, taste salt, sugar and let it simmer in medium fire until it boils. Off fire.
