Ingredients (serves 2):
250g glutinous rice flour
375ml water
2 tbsp cooking oil
250g ground peanuts
50g fine sugar
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Method:
1. Mix flour, water and corn oil and stir until it forms into a smooth batter.
2. Pour the batter into a claypot to steam over high heat for 15 minutes..
3. Put ground peanuts in a deep bowl and toss with sugar and toasted sesame seeds.
4. cut a portion of the cooked mua chee and toss into the peanuts mixture.
5. Use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the mua chee into smaller pieces.
6. serve immediately, warm and while peanuts are still crisp.

Notes: you can also microwave the mua chee batter in the Microwave oven over HIGH(100%) for 5 minutes. Make sure you cover the claypot if you want to microwave it. Or it will splatter in the oven.

I use claypot because its the only thing that can go into the microwave oven without getting burnt.

of course you can use other types of pots or pans if you are steaming it the old fashioned way.
