Pls advise how long can you keep the wilton colouring? I have 4 in a pax unopen...can it still be used. Intend to make a fondant cake for my daughter.

Wilton stuff usually don't have expiry dates. best to open up to see. if its jelly like, then its spoiled. If it is still liquidy..then its ok.

Thanks, Gina you are a jewel! Can I use the normal food colouring instead of the wilton ones as I cant find any in Bangkok.

if you are using it to colour buttercream, royal icing or fondant, you need Wilton colours or Chefmaster colours. Because its either oil based or gel based.

most food colouring are water based..may cause adverse effects on fondant.
