To the sifus here, can you advise if we can use fondant deco (flowers, figureines) on a buttercream frosted cake? I've seen very nice photos of these, but when I tried it, my flowers and wings on my bees turned soft and started drooping. I am guessing its the moisture from by buttercream swirl that caused it? Or it because I stored the finished cupcakes in airtight plastic containers? Can anyone please advise how I can be it better the next time. thanks.

hi,
was the cake totally at room temperature when you added the fondant? Otherwise the condensation will cause the fondant to "melt"
