We had this on my birthday, recently in June 2015. Natasha took us out for dinner at a dim sum restaurant.
Its so 'dangerous' to go and dine out with hubby..Can't eat in peace because he will ask me to replicate the dish at home.
Here's my any-how way to cook this..(may not be the authentic recipe)
500g soft bone pork, cut into chunks(ask the butcher to do it for you)
1 tbsp fermented black beans, rinsed in water, drained.
2 red chillies, deseeded, chopped finely.
This is the Fermented Black Beans I used. It comes in a jar with salt.
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine (ShaoXing Jiu)
1. Marinate pork in the seasonings for at least 4 hours.
2. Arrange the pork on a dish, scatter black beans and chopped chilli on top.
3. Steam over high heat for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
