Pumpkin Porridge

Ingredients:
100 g Butternut Pumpkin(only available in supermarkets)
100 g chicken minced
1 clove of garlic(skin removed, smashed)
200 ml soup stock
5 to 6 tbsp cooked rice

Methodl:
1. cut and chopped pumpkin into smaller pieces.
2. Boil soup stock and add pumpkin, minced chicken, garlic, cooked rice to cook and simmer for 20 mins.
3. Check to ensure that liquid has not dried up(about every 5 to 10 mins)
4. Serve hot.

Hi Gina,
My dd like pumpkin porridge, but she like it to be plain, nothing added.
Can i know is pumpkin cooling? When she is having cough can she sill eat, will it make her worst?

no idea about the yin and yang of pumpkins. Maybe you can ask the chinese medicinal shop guy.
