Well, I see that there are no slow cooker recipes in here yet Gina. So I will add one:

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

> 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
> 4 tablespoons butter
> 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup (best if one is
low
> salt)
> 1 onion, finely diced
> 2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

> Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill
with
> enough water to cover. Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High.
About 30
> minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow
cooker.
> Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

Linda

thanks for dropping by all the way from Alaska! Razz

Yesterday was our country's National Day and a public holiday here in Singapore. And my mom decided to come by my place to make Chicken Pies!

so I was kind of busy with her.

Does your mom live close by that she can visit often? My mom does not cook or bake anymore since my father passed away. But I think it was my father who did most of the cooking. He just loved to experiment and invent new recipes. Like pie and things.

Oh that is good then. I used to live next door to my mom, but since we moved she is now over five thousand miles away. No chance to just pop in and visit anymore.
