|I love to make my fruit salad this way, it's yummy with the creamy yoghurt mixed in together.
1 apple, cored & cut into cubes, skin can be peeled off but usually I like to leave it as it is
1 pear, cored & cut into cubes
1 mango, skinned & cut into cubes
1/2 honeydew, skinned & cut into cubes
2 kiwis, peeled & cut into cubes
2 bananas, peeled & cut into slices
1 peach, cut into cubes
A handful of strawberries, remove stems & sliced
Juice from 1 lime or lemon
Yoghurt (any kind of preferred flavour)
A handful of salted & roasted sunflower seeds
A handful of granola or any other preferred nuts
A handful of raisins (optional)
1. Toss all the fruits together in a big salad bowl.
2. Scoop a few big tablespoons of yoghurt into the fruits & mix well.
3. Add in lime juice to mix with the fruits.
4. Sprinkle the sunflower seeds, granola & raisins around the salad & chill in the fridge. Serve cold.
What's cooking for Christmas this year?
