wow! this dish took me less than 5 mins to make. I think I will start to create more recipes with Tempeh now..

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked rice
1 pc tempeh(fresh from market)
1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves(cilantro)
1 tbsp fresh spring onions
1 tsp red and green chilli(sliced)
1 red tomato(diced, seeds removed)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Garam masala powder

Method:
1. In a pan, add olive oil to heat.
2. Add Tempeh (break into smaller pieces) to stir fry for 3 to 5 mins.
3. Then add all the vegetables to stir fry.
4. Add rice and rest of seasonings.
5. Stir fry to mix evenly.
6. Serve hot.

garam masala is a mix of spices which is commonly used in Indian cooking.

you can buy a premix pack or do your own.

xiaoduzhi, why do you need to miss the food? Most of the ingredients, you can get in Australia. Plus you might have more time to cook and experiment there. You mustn't think so negatively, if not for sure you will have a miserable time in Oz. Think of it as a 3 year adventure.

Hi Gina,

Thanks a lot for your encouragement.. and ya, actually after a long discussion with my hubby and MIL, I am looking forward to going to Aust.. I can already imagine myself soaking up the sun, doing housework and preparing meals for my hubby and me. In fact, my hubby was joking with me that I can probably do chinese food catering to some of the uni students there..

I can get fresh tempeh daily from the market daily so I am looking forward to more tempeh recipes Gina! Smile

They are healthy and packed full of proteins. Good for those who do gym.
