This was created for Wendy Wong.

Ingredients
1 packet of mini crab claws(frozen)
2 tbsp tau cheong(preserved salted beans)
1 tbsp sesame oil
150ml water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp garlic(chopped)

Method
1. heat up the wok with oil and saute the garlic till fragrant
2. add crab claws and rest of ingredients to fry on high heat for 2 mins.
3. Cover the wok and let it simmer for 5 mins or until liquid has reduced to half the portion.
4. Dish out and serve immediately.

Notes
covering the wok is essential, so that the crab claws can absorb the flavours of the seasoning.

You can try other types of seasoning like sweet and sour sauce, etc.

Wendy

I actually wanted to do a breaded crumbs coating. Then I see the claws are so small and with so little meat, decided not to. as deep frying will cause the meat to shrink further.

Wendy

you are most Welcome! loving u the packaging looks small, but its alot of claws in there. I roughly counted more than 20 pcs per packet. just that now, I cannot remember how much it costs.

I want to do another version : Chilli Mini Crab Claws Mr. Green

not all frozen food taste bad. its just that you need to know how to cook it. for this mini crab claws, you need to cook it in a sauce/gravy and let it simmer for a while..so it absorbs the flavours. if it is fresh, you don't need to cook for so long.
