Rendy, this is for you...

Ingredients for Tart Shell

300 gm flour
1 tbsp milk powder
80 gm icing sugar
180 gm butter
1 egg

Method:
1. Sieve flour, milk powder and icing sugar into a mixing bowl.
2. Rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
3. Add beaten egg andmix lightly to form a soft dough.
4. Rest dough in the fridge for 20 minutes.
5. Roll out dough and cut into circles large enough to cover the tart moulds.
6. Press well onto the moulds and trim off excess dough around the edges.
7. Bake in pre-heated 180 degrees C oven for about 20 minutes till golden brown.

Ingredients for the Custard Cream (I cant really remember which recipe I used..but I'm now giving you one of the recipes I have...adapted from the Star Newspaper)

250 gm milk
75 gm sugar
12 gm custard powder
1 egg
15 gm butter
A few drops of vanilla essence (optional)

Method:
1. Over a slow fire, boil the milk and half the sugar and put aside.
2. Put the balance of the sugar in a bowl and add custard powder and egg and whisk.
3. Add the vanilla essence.
4. Pour 1/3 of the boiled milk into the egg mixture and stir well, then pour the egg mixture back into the hot milk and stir until it thickens.
5. Once the mixture has thickened, remove from heat and add the butter and stir. Put aside to cool down.

Assembly:

1. Divide custard cream evenly between the tart shells.
2. Decorate with any fruits you desire (strawberries, kiwis, lychees, mangoes...etc). I used all of these...hehehe
3. Ready to be served...Enjoyyy..

Regards...May yummy
