One of the no-failed , one dish meals I like to do on my lazy days.

to see the step by step pics, go to:

http://gchoong.fotopages.com and look for the entry of Baked Noodles

Overall photo:

Cross section of what it is inside:

per serving on a plate:

Recipe yields a 8x8 square dish(serves 4 persons)
Ingredients:
4 packets of Instant 3 Minute Noodles
1 can button mushrooms
1 can young corn
1 can straw mushrooms
1 can tuna fish in oil
200 g Mozzi cheese

Method:
1. Cook the noodles in water.
2. Drain and discard water.
3. Place noodles on the base of the square dish.
4. Add canned vegetables on top.
5. Pour all the contents of the tuna fish, plus oil too.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
7. Bake in preheated oven 200C for 20 mins or until top is golden brown.
8. Serve immediately.

Notes:
the canned tuna fish is ready salted. So I didn't add any seasonings to it.

Mellie

no lah..not insulted. Actually, i did it on purpose. Maybe I should have added notes to that. Getting really sick of the smell of cream, eggs so I omitted that. Its not as dry as it looks. the oil from the canned tuna fish actually makes the dish a bit moist.

I actually wanted to add mashed potatoes instead of mozzi cheese..but to think that I have to boil it, mashed it..sian already.

hey gina,

how do you think it'll taste if i added a can of cream of mushroom instead of the tuna (dh don't like tuna too much)...then add veggies on top with cheese? you think it would taste good?

Rendy

this is a failed proof recipe..you can add anything that you liked into it. I was just sick of eating creamy soup stuff. Razz

Hi Gina

True what you said. I made this for Thursday's night dinner & we finished all of it. On Friday, when my daughter came back from school, she wanted the same thing. In fact, she's the one who mixed whatever she likes & I baked it for her.

Thanks for the super easy recipe! Wink

Gina,

Made this for dinner today. Followed your recipe exactly, and it turned out beautifully, and tasted super-yummy.

My girls love it soooo much, and wants me to make it, again, for lunch tomorrow!

Thanks for sharing the recipe!!

Is there a spicy version?

This is a great way to cook instant noodles!
