Finally made the soup!! It was a very nice soup. I drank most of it ...hehehe! My girl loved it too.

I did not add the fig because I can't find it here but it was still very good. I ate the carrots but just not the apple... looks too mushy. And I only marinated the pork for an hour. Overall for this soup....definite keeper for me. Very Happy

Thanks for sharing!!

By the way, is the soup suppose to be clear or a little cloudy? mine was a little cloudy.

Iazzy, usually it is clear dark brown in color. It could be cloudy due to the disintegration of the apples. Maybe you could leave the apples in bigger chunks so it doesn't disintegrate so quickly.

I'm glad you like it. Very Happy

Hi singaporegal

tried this last sat ! the soup was so sweet from all the natural ingredients, will surely make this again but will cut down on the figs. i threw in about 8 small figs and i think my kids found the soup too sweet.
thks for the simple and very yummy recipe!

regards
octopusmum

Hi Octopusmum,

Yeah, I think 8 small figs is too much, even when they are small, 2-3 is more than sufficient.

I'm gald you liked the soup.
