Another easy meal for kids.
For one serving only. Just multiply the ingredients if you are cooking for more than 1 child.
Ingredients:
1 packet of japanese udon(from supermarkets)
200 g fresh fish fillet(threadfin/salmon/codfish)
2 stalks of chye sim green vegetables
200 ml fish stock
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Parboiled udon in hot water to soften it.
2. in a pot add fish stock to boil.
3. Add udon, fish fillets and vegetables.
4. Cook on high heat for 5 mins till vegetables are cooked.
5. Add salt to taste.
6. Dish out and serve in a bowl.
Notes:
For older kids, you can add tiger prawns(diced) and some sesame oil to this soup. For very young toddlers, cut the udon into smaller bits and cook in the soup longer to soften it more.
