Elaborate work..but so satisfying!


Note that somewhere in the photo there are these brown strips of somethings..! Its pork fat that is previously cooked. Added into the frying of garlic to make it more fragrant. Omit , its purely optional.


Seafood Hor Fun
Recipe by Gina Choong
Ingredients to fry Hor Fun:

1 kg hor fun
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp sweet sauce

Ingredients for gravy:
500g bean sprouts
1 kg tiger prawns
20 pcs fresh fish balls
3 large squids(remove ink sac, skin, wash, cut into rings)
1000ml water
3 cloves garlic(chopped)
50ml sesame oil
3 tbsp Dark Soya sauce
5 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tbsp sugar
3 eggs(lightly beaten)

Thickening mix: to mix together
5 tbsp Potato starch
70ml water

Method to cook the Hor Fun
1. Heat up wok with 2 tbsp of cooking oil, add chopped garlic to saut
