Makes 24 Veggie Vadai
2 cups Channa Dhal
1 medium onions(chopped)
1 green chilli(discard seeds, chopped finely)
1.5 tbsp Curry powder(Baba's brand)
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp chopped curry leaves
6 tbsp Bread flour (I used Blue Jacket's Premium Bread Flour)
1. Soak Dhal in water for 5 hours. Rinse, discard water.
2. Blend till smooth.
3. Add rest of ingredients
4. Wet your hands and shaped them into patties.
5. Deep fry in hot wok of oil till golden brown(about 5 to 7 mins)
You can get Channa Dhal from Indian Grocery shops.
