get the recipe on how to cook the laksa rempah from this link:
http://www.kitchencapers.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=8065

Serves 6 persons
Ingredients:
1 packet of beehoon
300 g bean sprouts
10 pcs fresh small limes
5 tbsp Laksa paste(home made)
5 tbsp Shallot oil
125ml water (more or less)

Method:
1. Soak beehoon in water till soft. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat up wok and add shallot oil to heat.
3. Add laksa paste to stir fry till heated.
4. Add beehoon to stir fry.
5. Add water, a little at a time and stir till beehoon is cooked.
6. Add bean sprouts and fry for 2 mins.
7. Serve hot with fresh lime.

Notes:
If you like it spicy, add more Laksa paste. If not, 5 tbsp for a whole packet of beehoon is just nice.

i've been to Malaysia and Singapore to eat but wasn't into 'foodtography' then. i shall return for sure.

hi meng, beesidhu

I don't use premix or buy ready made laksa paste.
I make my own. Refer to the link provided to get the one I made from scratch.

Hi Gina, The brand is `Teens'. ( I hope I spelt it correctly). Very tasty and delicious .... for me. It costs around RM4.80 per packet.
