For Nora:

Here is the link to the recipe.
http://cookie.allrecipes.com/az/BstBigFtChwyChcltChipCki.asp

My variations:
I halved the recipe and made about 10-12 pcs. I also used a milk powder scoop to scoop so I think this size is smaller than the one mentioned in the recipe. Still, it was about 6-7cm in diameter. Also, I reduced the chocolate chips and I think that the sugar should be reduced as well. If you want a crispier cookie, just bake longer in oven. Otherwise, keep a close watch at the cookies baking in the oven for it turns from chewy to crispy quite fast.

You got to have these in bigger sizes. They can easily pass off as Subway's huge cookies.

Hi

I tried making these heavenly cookies... yummy... didn't try to minus any chocolate chips but only the caster sugar. I only put in 1/4 cup of caster sugar.... yes it is really good although still a bit sweet. Maybe I would even do away with caster sugar and only have brown sugar instead. Also I added 3/4 cup of almond nibs..... taste so good... But now all cookies are gone from the cookie container.

Abit chewy but I guess if I were to bake a little bit longer at a lower degree then it will be more crispy.

I would like to make this to double chocolate chewy chip. Can I substitute 2 tbsp of flour with 2 tbsp of cocoa powder?

Tried it this evening. Turned out well. I did substitute 2 tbsp of flour with 2 tbsp of coca powder. I also did not use the castor sugar. Just raw sugar. Even then I found it too sweet. Following the recipe, it yields 12 big cookies. Did 6 of them crispy and 6 of them chewy.

Thanks for this wonderful recipe.
