|You can use a variety of Citrus fruits to mix and match and make your own ice lollies. This is great for kids who are fussy eaters and you worry if they have got all the vitamins needed. Also, a doctor once told me that its one of the best way to make a young child take this as it looks like an ice cream and taste sweet. but the sweetness is natural and healthy from fresh fruits rather than from white sugar.
Makes 4 ice lollies
juice from 1 large Pink GrapeFruit
1 cup Apple juice(Heinz for kids!)
1 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Ribena
1. Mix grapefruit juice, Apple juice with honey. Stir to mix and dissolve honey.
2. then add Ribena.
3. Pour into ice lolly cups and freeze for 6 hours or longer(depending on how long your freezer takes to freeze it)
4. to remove frozen ice lolly from the cup, wrap a warm cloth around the cup for 1 min.
You can use other types of citrus fruits like pineapples, small lime or oranges. Alternatively, you can use pear juice to mix with apple juice too.
