|I served this with idli to my little one for dinner today and he loves it!
1 green apple
1 small ripe local banana
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Water / Juice
Wash apple, peeled, cored and dice into about 1 cm cubes.
Peeled banana and dice to into 1 cm cubes.
Heat pan.Put in the olive oil and the apple cubes and saute till brown and slightly soften.
Add in the banana cubes and enough water/ juice to cover the fruits. Bring to a boil and then let it simmer for about 7 mins. If not using non-stick pan, do stir from time to time.
Cool slightly before serving to toddlers
- For younger infants/toddlers, puree with a hand-held belender till smooth...They love the slightly sour n sweet taste!
- I serve this on its own as a dessert or with dosa, pancakes and of coz, idli.[/b]
