Hi there kwf,

Your puppy and the snowman looks really cute. Well done. I'm sure you will improve in time to come. Sorry, I cant really answer your question as I used a different recipe to make my flowers. I'll let the sifus to answer them..

Regards..May

Thanks, May. You can see from the figurines that they're really amateur...lol...

its a good try and you actually did quite well. However, not all figurines are that easy to make. I always find animal figures a bit more difficult to shape.

One thing about home made sugar paste is you need alot of patience to get it right. If you know how to make soon kueh dough, you tend to be able to figure out the texture necessary for sugar paste dough. grin

Vi's recipe works but now I find sugar paste a bit too sweet for my liking too.

You might want to try MMF which May May have posted on a separate topic.

Thanks Gina for your encouragement. I saw May May's MMF, will probably try that after I finish the dough this round. Made already not too sure what to do with the figurines...lol...

I've been searching for not so sweet cake/cupcake deco, but haven't really find any.
