This is nothing special actually as I use bottled black pepper sauce to make the fillings.
Ingredients:
450-500gm chicken meat
3 large white onions (approx 420g)
2 medium sized carrots (approx 250g)
2 cloves garlics _________________ Ginny

Quote: | 3) I did crimp the edges but unfortunately, they disappeared after baking. Perhaps I should have used
beaten eggs to seal the puffs, then brush some eggs along the edges before crimping.
I guess, the crimp patterns will hold better in this way. |
Ginny, just to share .... I did not use eggs to seal the char siew puffs that I made, just pinched the edges hard enough to make sure that the puffs are properly sealed.

Kitchen: Thanks for answering on my behalf. This whole week will be extremely busy as I have to complete my financial reports for submission to US. _________________ Ginny
