|My hubby's fav cold dish..This is actually a very simple and plain dish. Dun understand why he likes it so much.
1 piece of silken tofu (fortune brand)
2 sheets of beancurd skin, cut into long strips (blanch in hot water and then take out to soak in cold water for 1 min. Drain excess water)
2 sprigs of spring onion, sliced thinly
2-3 tablespoons of light soya sauce
1-2 tablespoons of sesame oil
3 tablespoons of roasted white sesame seeds
2 sprigs of corriander leaves (for garnish)
*If you want it to be spicy, can add red chilli slices or chilli oil.
-Place the silken tofu (cut into cubes) in the middle of the plate.
-Toss the beancurd strips with light soya sauce, sesame oil, spring onions and roasted white sesame seeds.
-Place the beancurd strips around the tofu.
-Garnish with corriander leaves. Add more sesame seeds.
-If necessary, add more light soya sauce. (Adjust according to individual taste)
