Angie, made your 3 cup chicken for dinner last nite, and you're right, it is soooo good! I can't get the dark soya sauce like the ones back home, so my chicken's not your lovely dark color, more like chocolate chicken! Wink[/quote]

please do not quote the whole message with photos. As it will add up more server space. As KC is FREE to all, its not free to me. I have to pay S$500 ++ to maintain it annually.

levynn, you get your onion oil by frying sliced shallot in oil until its golden brown. Drain the shallots out and what's left is the onion oil, which is very fragrant. You can keep your onion oil in a glass container with some fried shallot in it and use it to garnish soups, noodles, vegetables, etc, etc.

I think you can omit the wine. If too dry, just add a bit of water. Adjust seasoning too if necessary.
