This recipe yields 20 pcs
Ingredients:
100 g almond flakes
2 egg whites
100 g sugar
50 g plain flour

Method:
1. Add sugar to egg white, stir to mix and dissolve sugar.
2. Add sifted flour in a bowl and almond flakes to mix.
3. Add egg mix into it to stir.
4. Mixture should be creamy.
5. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
6. Add 1 tsp of mix on the baking paper.
7. using the back of the spoon to push and flatten the mix on the paper.
8. Bake in preheated oven 180 C for 12 mins or golden brown.
9. Remove to cool slightly outside the oven before removing each cookie from baking paper.

Notes:
Its a lot of work because you can only do 6 cookies per tray. Depending on the size of your oven and the tray you have. My oven is small. So i can only make 6 cookies each time.

Hi Gina,

Can I recycle the baking paper? I've not used it before!

beesidhu Not difficult at all. Just sprinkle the powder mixture (thin layer will do) to your tray , no holes, then top with almond slice. That's all!

Alannia

I got mine from bakery store "Bakes Ideas" , Tmn Damai Perdana Cheras

No, it doesn't taste very sweet. In fact a very thin layer of the powder mixture will be enough. Too thick will be very sweet. So long you cover the entire tray with powder ( and no holes will do)

One drawback is.. i find this powder Bienetta is quite $$, i think around RM20++ , can't remember the exact price..I hope to bake this again.

Alannia : i think is the Bienetta powder =335g. The recipe give by my bakery supplier say

200 g of Bienetta + 300g of almond flakes

Anyway i only use 335g of Bienetta + 250g almond flakes. Coz i lay "just enough" almond slice for each baking. grin
