My recipe is always agak agak one ...never really measure when it comes to making such only do that for baking Smile Anyways here it is for Dewynne,
12-15 dried chillies
6shallots
few cloves of garlic i used 3
4/5 stalks of serai
8/10 chilli padi
freash turmeric and glangal(think its blue ginger) abt 3cm each
ginger same
belachan powder ( i did not use it ) cos dont like it
Blend all the above with little watwer set aside.
firm tofu (used abt 5) cut them as you like and fry
cube of chicken stock
turmeric leave and Daun Limau purut
salt and sugar to taste
Instead of coconut milk i used the instant one can use evaporated milk also .
fry the blended things in hot oil till aromatic add in the coconut milk or evaporated milk and bit of water bring to boil and in Fried Tofu, crumbled chicken stock and the finely shredded leaves. cover it on low heat until you get the desired thickness add salt and sugar and enjoy with warm rice !! Smile

anything you are not sure abt plz do ask ....will be more willing to help ...happy trying!!
