Using Yaha's recipe for the cuttlefish sambal, I cooked this when I found the bamboo clams at cold storage. Rare find. _________________ My journey in US!

Ok, this is not mine recipe, it's from Yaha, just replace cuttle fish with bamboo clams
1 packet of bamboo clams (fm cold storage) Wash and put in boiling water for a few mins.
1 Tbsp tamarind - add 1/2 cup water and extract 1/2 cup juice.
1 Tbsp sugar
salt to taste
5 Tbsp Oil
Grind to a fine paste:-
20 dried chillies - soak and seeded
2 medium sized onions
1 piece dried shrimp paste (blacan) - 2.5cm or 1" square
Method
Heat oil, add ground ingredients, salt and sugar and fry till fragrant.
Add clams, fry for a while then add tamarind juice and leave to cook for 5 mins. _________________ My journey in US!
