Old Coot, you can sub jalepenos for the green chili. BTW, hope Gustav misses Louisiana. Take care over there.

I eat more jalapeno's than the body should be allowed to take, lolz, I luv em. I find that jalapeno's are stronger in aroma, heat and flavor than the green chili's, I can get fresh green chili's at the market and I found a can of sliced green chili's in the pantry.

If Gustav comes ashore as predicted, category 3(111 - 130 mph winds) hurricane, I should be fine, My house should be fine, It withstood Katrina and I have made subsequent improvements since.

I also have a stock of gas for the generators, propane for the gas stoves, grills and cookers (I'll be in bbq heaven) and a deep freezer full of meats and prepared foods. I have a 2 wells, both with 75 gallon tanks and if I get really hungry,.. I have a pond stocked with fish.

Oh yeh,.. I forgot,. I have about 10 gallons of muscadine wine, 5 gallons of Strawberry wine and 3 cases of homebrew beer, All for medisimal purposes
